Fördelen med bil ur ren virksynpunkt är att man har ytterligare en ursäkt att virka en filt. Eller två. Om man skulle råka fastna 11 timmar på M25:an i snön är det alltid bra med en filt till hands. Nu är väl risken minimal eftersom jag aldrig kommer att köra där, men om... Men om inte annat så är det skönt med filtar när Pop och jag sitter i bilen och väntar på att Albi ska sluta skolan.
Filtarna är virkade med virknål 4.5mm mestadels i Stylecraft Special DK. Storleken är knästorlek (jag vet att jag skulle mätt dem, men nu ligger de i bilen redan...).
The advantages with having a car - from a strictly crocheting point of view - is that you have yet one more excuse to make a blanket. Or two.. If you would get stuck 11 hours in the snow on the M25 a blanket will come in handy. Not that that would happen to me as I will never drive there, but if... On the other hand it is also quite nice having a blanket to snuggle under, waiting for Albi on the schoolrun.
The blankets are made with mostly Stylecraft special DK, hook 4.5. Size is about lap size. I know I should have meassured, but they are already in the car..

Gosh, those blankets are beautiful! The colour combinations are just gorgeous - I wouldn't leave them in the car, I'd drape them round my shoulders wherever I go! ;-) Chrissie x
SvaraRaderaOooh, they're lovely! I can't decide which one I like best! Good old Stylecraft Special - they now sell it in Pack Lane Woolshop in Basingstoke (remember we went there once or twice - I got the yarn for Alba's green hat there) - maybe I've already told you this, can't remember!
