Picknickfilt

Min mammas faster virkade grytlappar.

Picnic blanket

My mum's aunt liked to crochet potholders. I am not lying if I say she made hundreds. All of us relatives have a healthy pile each in the most amazing colours. And what it seems like, exactly the same stitch count... Which  is brilliant if you like me decide to join up about 30 potholders and make a picnic blanket. Most colourful project in a long time!

And just for the record, I have not been crocheting like an obsessed in the new year. This blanket was finished before Christmas.

  1. I am in love with your colourful picnic blanket and I am in love with your cat! A fabulous idea to corral all those pretty potholders together and fashion it into a blanket. Every time you use it you will have lovely memories of your mother.

  2. This is gorgeous, Anna, and I hope to see a lot of fun picnics in your future. Which stitch did you use to join the squares? It is very nice.

    1. Thank you! I used clusters of three double crochet (US) like granny squares. Hope that helps!x
