The children are off for half-term these two weeks and we got the needle felting kit out. First we made balls.

Konstigt.

And then a bird! Proudly posing on our only apple. Whilst it is very satisfying stabbing needles in the balls it did not feel as good to stab the bird - as if it was a real little living creature. Strange.

I trädgården/In the garden

Apart from the silly apple crop we have had some rain in the garden. It is beautiful with droplets on petals.

Tack för besöket!
Thank you for visiting!

  1. Those raindrops on the flowers are beautiful; gorgeous photos, Anna. Those felt balls are cool and oh how sweet is that little birdie resting on the apple.

  4. Beautiful felting! Funny enough I nearly ordered some felt balls online the other day - but I resisted in the end. Maybe I should try making some instead, and get into needle-felting along with everything else! Very cute bird - he seems to have survived the poking with needles!! xxx
