Under andras julgranar 2015

It is time to slowly make my way back from the Christmas holiday. I start the new year with the Christmas presents I gave away 2015. Unfortunately I did not manage as much handmade as I would have wanted, but still a few things was ready on time. I sent some red Christmas hearts with the Christmas cards. I made a new crochet hook from rhododendron wood for my sister. Finally I made a wool blanket for my husband, using another one of my own rhododendron wood crochet hooks. Very satisfying! I myself got a wood carving knife for Christmas so this spring will see some carving!

  1. Oh, so much gorgeousness! I love my red heart - I hung it on the tree, along with the two snow flakes that you'd make me in previous years!! I love unwrapping them and seeing them again at Christmas when I get my decorations out. Thank you!

The blanket is amazing - it looks so snuggly and cosy. And fantastic to make it with your own hook - the hooks both look great! You'll be in a carving frenzy now you've got your new knife!!
