Ja, jag vet att det är vår och nästan sommar, men ibland vill man sticka sockar. Och jag har gett dem ett somrigt namn...


Lavender socks

I know it is spring and almost summer, but sometimes you want to knit socks. And I did give them a summery name...

Sockfakta

Garn: Loppisgarn som jag tidigare virkat en sjal i. Inget fel på sjalen, men jag beslöt mig för att riva upp den och sticka sockar med garnet istället. Det är intressant att se hur endel garn faktiskt vill bli stickat och producerar prydliga ränder - kunde inte bli lyckligare!
Mönster: Samma som jag använde till mina Mind the Gap -sockar, men jag gjorde skaftet lite längre.
Stickor: 3mm/30cm rundsticka, 3mm strumpstickor och 3mm/80cm rundsticka


Sock facts

Yarn: Flee market find, earlier used for a shawl, nothing wrong with the shawl, but I decided to unravel that and use the yarn for socks instead. It is interesting to see how some yarn actually wants to be knitted, producing lovely neat stripes - could not be happier!
Pattern: Same one I used for my Mind the Gap socks, but I knitted the leg part longer.
Needles: 3mm/30cm circular needles, 3mm DPN:s, 3/80cm circular needles
